I had acne all my life, it is mostly under control now, with the occasional pimple. I’m now left with scarring, its not terrible, but it is noticeable as well as large pores. I want to know the best way of getting rid of them completely. I’ve tried IPL which helped but didn’t completely remove the scars. Please can someone help – my sanity depends on you! Thank you!
Answer: One of the best ways to get rid of acne scarring and large pores is to use a 20% Salicylic acid peel, it works extremely well to close up the pores and when used regularly or once a week, it will reduce pore size.
For regular scarring you might want to use a Glycolic acid peel of 30% and above. Other alternatives include a bleaching agent like hydroquinone but be careful, hydroquinone is extremely potent and should only be used in small quantities and short periods of time. You should not use it on the whole face but only on the spots.
For daily pore reduction try splashing your face with ice-cold water after a bath or after you wash your face. This will lead to noticeable reductions in pore size right away.

You should use a regular skin care regimen with an exfoliator, which will help your skin renew itself and unclog your pores, helping them reduce in size. Over time, if you exfoliate your skin, your scarring with decrease, but it may not go away without some time of dermtologic treatment.
all right!the answer is this:PRO ACTIVE!!it realy works!i had acne to but about 7years ago it all went away.order!use!acne gone!!

i was told Pro-Active was good as it slowly removes the dead skin cells on the face smoothing out to new skin.
Im currently using the above and its working well, but i also use a product by the name of Bio-Oil which improves skin tone, scars etc and it has worked wonders
i used a product years ago which i purchased overseas by cannot remember the name of it .. it removed a fair portion of acne scarring.
it was some milk lotion which you had to apply day & night but im sorry i cannot recall the name
came in a yellow bottle .. was ‘something’ milk lotion
please do try the Bio-Oil though because you will be amazed
